How listings work, what the rate means and what it costs you.
Each task has a written brief, an hourly rate shown up front, a weekly or monthly load of about one to two hours a day, and a start window. You see everything before you say yes.
The company sets a rate range for each task, and we check it against published wage data for the role and place (BLS, ONS, Job Bank Canada, Eurostat and national statistics, aged to October 2026) and against posted pay. Your recruiter agrees your exact rate with you inside the range before anything is sent. The method is on the rates methodology page.
No. Most tasks take about five hours a week, and the platform cap is 15. Your recruiter keeps the count and flags anything that could clash with your contract.
Nothing. The company pays a 15% fee on top of your rate, and there is no placement fee if a company later hires you full time.
Companies are described by what they do and how big they are, and each has a stable code (CL-...). The name is shared when you agree to an introduction, the same way your name is shared with them.
The company prepays Deftridge. Deftridge pays you once the company confirms the hours or the deliverable, on the date written in your task agreement.
Tell us your category and country. A recruiter writes back with tasks and rates, and nothing goes to a company without your OK.
