Deftridge is a recruiting platform for working professionals who want a few extra hours of paid, well-defined work, and for companies that need an expert for part of a week.
Why we exist
Skilled people with full-time jobs turn down good side work because nobody shows the rate up front, the process involves a stream of calls and a profile can end up anywhere. Companies, meanwhile, wait months for a hire when what they need is a specialist for five hours a week.
Deftridge puts both sides on one page: tasks sized for one to two hours a day, the hourly rate on every task, a named recruiter who writes e-mails rather than calling, and a profile that stays anonymous until you agree.
We are paid by the company, 15% on top of your rate. Hiring someone full time later is free, so we have no reason to keep good people on the platform longer than they want to be.
