Working on the side in Romania
What to check before you take a task next to a full-time job. Orientation only; none of it is legal or tax advice.
Before you start
- Read the outside-work and conflict-of-interest clauses in your employment contract.
- Check for a non-compete or a duty to disclose side income to your employer.
- As a contractor you are usually responsible for your own income tax and social contributions; a local accountant can size the amounts.
Your recruiter walks through these points with you before you accept a task. Read the guides
