About this task

This beverage company in plant-based food (201–500 employees) is looking for a director Employee Relations Advisor for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Interviews, evidence review and a fair written report.

It is a self-contained job: scope, checklist and price are agreed before you start. It produces and sells food and drink, with seasonal peaks and strict labelling rules.

The work is fully remote and open to anyone living in an EU country; the team itself works from Portugal. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there.

What you deliver

• Investigate a bullying complaint: interview six people and deliver a findings report.
• A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
• A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
• The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed

How the work runs

• Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
• Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
• Last day: final version and handover note

Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
