About this task

This energy services company in solar (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a senior Marketing Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–8 h a week. Keeps campaigns, agencies and freelancers moving and the weekly numbers visible.

The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It is an energy business with strict compliance and reporting cycles.

The team sits in Genoa. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

• Run the weekly marketing meeting, review pipeline and spend, unblock two freelancers and send a one-page update every Friday.
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call

What a week looks like

• Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Wednesday: main working block (3 hours)
• Monday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.

• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
