About this task

This international nonprofit in food security (5,000+ employees) is looking for a director Marketing Manager for a paid one-hour session with a senior specialist. One hour with an experienced marketing leader on a hire, a budget or a channel decision.

A short, focused session replaces days of internal debate. It is a nonprofit, so budgets are tight and grant reporting dates are fixed.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Italy works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. The call is booked at a time that suits you, evenings included. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

• Review a founder's marketing budget and hiring plan and answer three specific questions on what to do first.
• Pointers to sources you relied on, so the company can check them
• A short written summary of the advice within 24 hours after the session
• No preparation outside the hour unless you both agree to extend

How the work runs

• Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
• Days 2 to 3: the work, with questions answered the same day
• Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough

Duration: One session of about an hour. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
