About this task
This Packaged-food brand in cleaning products (11–50 employees) is looking for a director Fractional CMO for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–4 h a week. Weekly check-in that sets priorities and unblocks the team.
The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It sells consumer goods through retailers, so planning cycles run to a fixed monthly calendar.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Colorado, so this one is for residents there. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (MT).
What you deliver
- Lead the weekly marketing call, set priorities and send a one-page summary of decisions.
- A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
What a week looks like
- Monday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
- Tuesday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
