About this task
This Supply-chain software company for e-commerce brands (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager Chief of Staff for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 10–30 h a month. Takes on a bounded problem and owns the answer.
The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. It moves goods for customers, so the data is operational and updated daily.
The company prefers a person who can come to Toronto for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).
What you deliver
- Own a 6-week project to review sales hiring plans and recommend changes.
- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
What a month looks like
- Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
- Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
- Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month
Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
