About this task
This Series C medical devices company for primary care (201–500 employees) is looking for a director Chief of Staff for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 10–30 h a month. Takes on a bounded problem and owns the answer.
A named list of recurring items keeps the month predictable for both sides. It works in healthcare, so patient data is never part of the task and privacy rules are strict.
The team sits in Independence. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).
What you deliver
- Own a 6-week project to review sales hiring plans and recommend changes.
- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
What a month looks like
- Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
- Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
- Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month
Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
