About this task

This Series B direct-to-consumer brand for pet products (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Business Development Manager for a paid one-hour session with a senior specialist. A senior seller's view on one decision.

A short, focused session replaces days of internal debate. It sells online, so volumes move with promotions and the calendar matters.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Sweden works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. The call is booked at a time that suits you, evenings included. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

• Review a founder's go-to-market plan and answer three questions on pricing, channel and first hires.
• No preparation outside the hour unless you both agree to extend
• Pointers to sources you relied on, so the company can check them
• A short written summary of the advice within 24 hours after the session

How the work runs

• Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
• Days 2 to 3: the work, with questions answered the same day
• Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough

Duration: One session of about an hour. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
