About this task
This fashion retailer (51–200 employees) is looking for a senior Brand Copy Editor for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 8–20 h a month. Rewrites catalogue or UI text for consistency.
The company wants one reliable owner for a list of small jobs instead of five different people. It is a retailer with stores and an online channel, and the team works to a weekly trading rhythm.
The team sits in Phoenix. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there.
What you deliver
- Standardise 500 product descriptions to a template and tone.
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
What a month looks like
- Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
- Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
- Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month
Duration: 8 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
