About this task
This Personal-care brand in baby care (201–500 employees) is looking for a director Business Development Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Finds and develops channel and technology partners.
The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It sells consumer goods through retailers, so planning cycles run to a fixed monthly calendar.
The team sits in Kamloops. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (PT).

- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
What a week looks like
- Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
- Wednesday: main working block (2 hours)
- Tuesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open
