About this task
This hotel group in tours and activities (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Office & Admin Coordinator for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–5 h a week. Equipment, accounts and welcome for each new employee.
The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It works in travel and hospitality, where demand is seasonal.
The team sits in Toronto. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).
What you deliver
- Arrange equipment, desks and accounts for four starters in a week.
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
What a week looks like
- Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
- Friday: main working block (2 hours)
- Tuesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open
Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
