About this task

This electronics manufacturer making food packaging (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a manager Chief of Staff for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Clear notes and action lists with owners and dates.

The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It manufactures physical products, and the office team works to month-end and plant schedules.

The team sits in Bucharest. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (EET).

What you deliver

• Take notes in four recurring meetings and send action lists within two hours.
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

• Tuesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Thursday: main working block (2 hours)
• Friday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
