About this task
This Series B online marketplace for outdoor gear (51–200 employees) is looking for a senior Marketing Manager for a paid one-hour session with a senior specialist. One hour with an experienced marketing leader on a hire, a budget or a channel decision.
The company has one decision to take and wants a senior view before it does. It sells online, so volumes move with promotions and the calendar matters.
The work is fully remote. Any location in United States works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. The call is booked at a time that suits you, evenings included. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).
What you deliver
- Review a founder's marketing budget and hiring plan and answer three specific questions on what to do first.
- One focused hour, with the questions sent to you the day before
- A short written summary of the advice within 24 hours after the session
- No preparation outside the hour unless you both agree to extend
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: One session of about an hour. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
