About this task
This gaming platform (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a senior Business Development Manager for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 12–24 h a month. Whether and where to sell next.
The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. It is a games studio with release dates that move the whole calendar.
The team sits in Brampton. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).
What you deliver
- Scan three new markets for demand, competitors and channels and recommend where to start.
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
- A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
What a month looks like
- Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities
- Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes
- Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items
Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
