About this task
This Last-mile delivery company with a cold-chain network (51–200 employees) is looking for a director Fractional COO for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Which roles, in which order and with what outcomes.
It is a self-contained job: scope, checklist and price are agreed before you start. It moves goods for customers, so the data is operational and updated daily.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in South Carolina, so this one is for residents there. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.
What you deliver
- Review the organisation and produce a six-quarter hiring plan with cost.
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 6: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: 1 to 2 weeks. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
