General Counsel Advisory Hour

About this task

This digital health company for physiotherapy clinics (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a director Fractional General Counsel for a paid one-hour session with a senior specialist. One hour of senior legal advice on a defined question.

The company has one decision to take and wants a senior view before it does. It works in healthcare, so patient data is never part of the task and privacy rules are strict.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Cyprus works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. The call is booked at a time that suits you, evenings included. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

• Give advice on an IP assignment question with a written summary afterwards.
• One focused hour, with the questions sent to you the day before
• Pointers to sources you relied on, so the company can check them
• A short written summary of the advice within 24 hours after the session

How the work runs

• Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
• Days 2 to 3: the work, with questions answered the same day
• Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough

Duration: One session of about an hour. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
