About this task
This specialty pharma company in neuroscience (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior Employment Contract Specialist for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 8–20 h a month. Checks existing contracts for missing or unlawful terms.
The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. It works in life sciences, where documents are versioned and reviewed in a fixed order.
The team sits in Houston. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start.
What you deliver
- Audit 40 employment contracts for UK law compliance and list fixes by priority.
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
- A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
What a month looks like
- Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
- Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
- Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month
Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
