About this task
This insurtech company (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a director Employee Relations Advisor for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Patterns in cases and risks.
The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Massachusetts, so this one is for residents there. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start.
What you deliver
- Report quarterly case counts, types and outcomes with three recommendations.
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
What a week looks like
- Wednesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
- Monday: main working block (1 hours)
- Friday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open
Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
