About this task
This boutique advisory firm for healthcare providers (201–500 employees) is looking for an executive Fractional COO for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 12–30 h a month. Steps in on a delayed project and resets scope, owners and plan.
The company wants one reliable owner for a list of small jobs instead of five different people. It is a consulting firm, so client deadlines set the pace and handover notes are expected.
The team sits in Warsaw. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).
What you deliver
- Take over a stalled system rollout, reset scope and deliver a recovery plan with weekly checkpoints.
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
- A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
What a month looks like
- Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
- Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
- Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month
Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
