About this task
This boutique law firm advising employers (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Employment Contract Specialist for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Independent contractor agreement with classification risk addressed.
A fresh pair of experienced eyes is needed, and the result is a document or file the team can use straight away. It is a law firm; confidentiality is absolute and every file is handled under supervision.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Tennessee, so this one is for residents there. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).
What you deliver
- Draft a contractor agreement for US and UK contractors with IP and confidentiality terms.
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
