About this task

This streaming and audio company (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a senior Employment Contract Specialist for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Independent contractor agreement with classification risk addressed.

The company has a deadline, no one free to own it, and wants a person who has done the same job before. It publishes content on a schedule, so editorial deadlines are fixed.

The team sits in Cheyenne. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.

What you deliver

• Draft a contractor agreement for US and UK contractors with IP and confidentiality terms.
• One round of edits after the company's review is included
• The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
• A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope

How the work runs

• Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
• Days 2 to 5: the work, with questions answered the same day
• Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough

Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
