Business Analyst is one of the titles we hear most. These are the part-time roles where your experience carries over, what they pay per hour, and the tasks open now. About five hours a week, next to your main job.

Business analysts are brought in when a project is about to start and nobody has written down what it should do. Part-time tasks include current-state process maps, requirement documents, user stories with acceptance criteria and vendor comparisons. They are well defined, which makes them easy to fit around a full-time job.
Companies value an analyst who can interview busy people quickly and write plainly. Mention the methods you use, such as process mapping notation or a backlog tool, and give one example of a requirement document you produced. Workshops are the hardest part to schedule; propose recorded walkthroughs and written questions instead of long live sessions.
