About this task

This renewable energy developer in wind (201–500 employees) is looking for a director Content Lead for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Briefs that writers can follow without a call.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It is an energy business with strict compliance and reporting cycles.

The company prefers a person who can come to Galway for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (Irish time).

What you deliver

• Produce eight article briefs a week with outline, sources, search intent and internal links.
• A written update every Wednesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

• Tuesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
• Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
• Wednesday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
