About this task
This Agri-business in greenhouse growing (51–200 employees) is looking for a senior Bookkeeper for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–4 h a week. Codes bank and card transactions and queries unclear items.
Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It is an agri-business, so the calendar follows the growing season.
The company prefers a person who can come to London for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. The company prefers early-morning hours, before a normal working day starts. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).
What you deliver
- Code the week's transactions for a 12-person agency and send a short list of questions to the owner.
- A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
What a week looks like
- Friday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
- Wednesday: main working block (2 hours)
- Tuesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open
Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
