About this task

This connectivity provider in IoT connectivity (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a specialist Accounts Payable Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–4 h a week. Prepares payment batches and sends remittances.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It is a telecom company, with large datasets and long-running programmes.

The company prefers a person who can come to Pueblo for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (MT).

What you deliver

  • Prepare Friday's payment run, check bank details against the vendor file and send remittance advice.
  • Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

  • Wednesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
  • Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
  • Friday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
