About this task
This regional bank serving professional firms (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior Accounts Payable Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–4 h a week. Prepares payment batches and sends remittances.
Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It is a regulated bank; the work is documented and reviewed before anything is signed off.
The team sits in Hamburg. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).
What you deliver
- Prepare Friday's payment run, check bank details against the vendor file and send remittance advice.
- A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Wednesday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Tuesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
