About this task

This electronics manufacturer supplying the auto industry (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Accounts Payable Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–4 h a week. Prepares payment batches and sends remittances.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It manufactures physical products, and the office team works to month-end and plant schedules.

The company prefers a person who can come to Gelsenkirchen for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start.

What you deliver

  • Prepare Friday's payment run, check bank details against the vendor file and send remittance advice.
  • A written update every Wednesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
  • Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

  • Friday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
  • Thursday: main working block (2 hours)
  • Wednesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
