About this task
This payroll and HR services provider for healthcare staffing (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Operations Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 4–9 h a week. Keeps cross-team work moving and the weekly numbers visible.
The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It works in staffing and HR technology, and the team is used to external specialists.
The work is fully remote. Any location in United States works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (MT).
What you deliver
- Run the weekly ops review, chase blockers across three teams and send a one-page status every Friday.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
What a week looks like
- Wednesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
- Thursday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
