About this task
This industrial manufacturer making industrial pumps (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior Accounts Payable Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–5 h a week. Collects tax forms and bank details and keeps the vendor master tidy.
Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It manufactures physical products, and the office team works to month-end and plant schedules.
The company prefers a person who can come to Chemnitz for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. The company prefers early-morning hours, before a normal working day starts. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).
What you deliver
- Onboard 12 new vendors with W-9 or W-8 forms, bank verification and a clean master record.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Friday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Monday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
