About this task
This Series C applied AI company for finance teams (201–500 employees) is looking for a specialist Accounts Payable Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–5 h a week. Collects tax forms and bank details and keeps the vendor master tidy.
Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It builds AI products and needs human experts to check what the models produce.
The company prefers a person who can come to Berlin for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).
What you deliver
- Onboard 30 new vendors with W-9 or W-8 forms, bank verification and a clean master record.
- A written update every Wednesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
What a week looks like
- Monday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
- Thursday: main working block (2 hours)
- Wednesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
