About this task

This Series A subscription commerce company (51–200 employees) is looking for a specialist Accounts Payable Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–5 h a week. Collects tax forms and bank details and keeps the vendor master tidy.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It sells online, so volumes move with promotions and the calendar matters.

The team sits in Amherst. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there.

What you deliver

• Onboard 20 new vendors with W-9 or W-8 forms, bank verification and a clean master record.
• A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

• Monday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Tuesday: main working block (2 hours)
• Friday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid
