About this task

This management consulting firm for family businesses (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Accounts Payable Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 4–10 h a week. Enters invoices, matches them to purchase orders and routes them for approval.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It is a consulting firm, so client deadlines set the pace and handover notes are expected.

The team sits in Tallinn. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.

What you deliver

• Process the week's 150 vendor invoices with two-way matching and chase approvers for the 12 oldest.
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

• Tuesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Friday: main working block (4 hours)
• Thursday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid
