About this task
This mobility company in EV batteries (201–500 employees) is looking for a specialist Accounts Payable Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 4–10 h a week. Enters invoices, matches them to purchase orders and routes them for approval.
The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It is an automotive business with long programme cycles and a strong paper trail.
The company prefers a person who can come to Málaga for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).
What you deliver
- Process the week's 120 vendor invoices with two-way matching and chase approvers for the 10 oldest.
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A written update every Wednesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Thursday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Wednesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
