About this task
This hospitality operator in short-term rentals (5,000+ employees) is looking for a specialist Accounts Payable Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 4–10 h a week. Enters invoices, matches them to purchase orders and routes them for approval.
The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It works in travel and hospitality, where demand is seasonal.
The work is fully remote. Any location in Denmark works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there.
What you deliver
- Process the week's 150 vendor invoices with two-way matching and chase approvers for the 12 oldest.
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
What a week looks like
- Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
- Monday: main working block (4 hours)
- Tuesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
