About this task
This technology consulting firm for family businesses (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a senior Customer Support Manager for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Staffing a support team from volume forecasts.
It is a self-contained job: scope, checklist and price are agreed before you start. It is a consulting firm, so client deadlines set the pace and handover notes are expected.
The team sits in Austin. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there.
What you deliver
- Forecast ticket volume for the next two quarters and design a staffing and shift plan.
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 6: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: 1 to 2 weeks. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
