About this task
This aerospace supplier making satellite parts (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Procurement & Vendor Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Scorecards against service levels and complaints.
Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It works in aerospace, where change control and documentation are formal.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Florida, so this one is for residents there. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).
What you deliver
- Prepare quarterly scorecards for 8 suppliers and hold review calls with the three weakest.
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Wednesday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Tuesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
