About this task

This Series A workflow automation company for construction firms (11–50 employees) is looking for a manager Reference-Answer Writer for a rating and review programme for AI output in your own field, 4–8 h a week. Writes answers that cite primary sources.

Ratings are checked against a written rubric, and your notes go back to the team that builds the product. The company sells subscription software, so deadlines follow release and billing cycles.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Canada works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day.

What you deliver

• Write 10 explainers with links to official sources and the date each was checked.
• Flags for answers that are unsafe, off-topic or wrong in your field
• Short calibration notes after the first batch, so your ratings match the guidelines
• A weekly count of items reviewed, confirmed by the programme lead

What a week looks like

• Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Friday: main working block (3 hours)
• Wednesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: Weekly batches for 6 weeks, renewed every four weeks. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.

• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
