About this task
This hotel group in tours and activities (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a senior Process Documentation Specialist for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 8–20 h a month. Step-by-step procedures with screenshots and owners.
A named list of recurring items keeps the month predictable for both sides. It works in travel and hospitality, where demand is seasonal.
The team sits in Chicago. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).
What you deliver
- Write 15 standard operating procedures for finance and HR tasks, with screenshots.
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
- A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
What a month looks like
- Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
- Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
- Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month
Duration: 6 months, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
