About this task
This specialty insurer covering small businesses (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior Corporate Secretary & Governance for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Prepares written consents and the routine communications that investors expect.
The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.
The work is fully remote. Any location in United States works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (PT).
What you deliver
- Prepare shareholder consent packages for a financing round and track signatures.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
What a week looks like
- Monday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
- Tuesday: main working block (1 hours)
- Friday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
