About this task

This recruiting platform for healthcare staffing (11–50 employees) is looking for a senior Phone Screener for a paid one-hour session with a senior specialist. Aligns recruiters on how ratings are applied.

The company has one decision to take and wants a senior view before it does. It works in staffing and HR technology, and the team is used to external specialists.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Michigan, so this one is for residents there. The call is booked at a time that suits you, evenings included. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).

What you deliver

• Calibrate ratings with the recruiting team on 10 recorded screens.
• Pointers to sources you relied on, so the company can check them
• A short written summary of the advice within 24 hours after the session
• No preparation outside the hour unless you both agree to extend

How the work runs

• Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
• Days 2 to 3: the work, with questions answered the same day
• Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough

Duration: One session of about an hour. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
