About this task
This Series B E-commerce platform (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager Sales Operations Manager for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. A commission plan modelled before it is announced.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It sells online, so volumes move with promotions and the calendar matters.
The work is fully remote. Any location in United States works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.
What you deliver
- Model three commission plans against last year's results and show cost, payout spread and risk.
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 8: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
