About this task
This Last-mile delivery company with a cold-chain network (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager Fractional Customer Success Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Predicts renewals and works at-risk accounts early.
The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It moves goods for customers, so the data is operational and updated daily.
The team sits in Grand Rapids. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).
What you deliver
- Forecast the next quarter's renewals and contact all accounts at risk 80 days out.
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
What a week looks like
- Friday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
- Monday: main working block (1 hours)
- Thursday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
