About this task

This specialty insurer for homeowners (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a manager Terms & Policies Drafter for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Clear policy meeting consumer-law minimums.

The company has a deadline, no one free to own it, and wants a person who has done the same job before. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.

The company prefers a person who can come to Copenhagen for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.

What you deliver

  • Draft refund and returns terms for UK and EU consumers and US customers.
  • One round of edits after the company's review is included
  • The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
  • A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer

How the work runs

  • Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
  • Days 2 to 4: the work, with questions answered the same day
  • Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough

Duration: about 10 working days. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

  • A habit of asking one clarifying question early rather than five late

Not included

  • Work outside the scope written in the brief; extra items are quoted separately
  • Travel or work at a fixed location
  • A signature or opinion in your own name: sign-off stays with the company

  • You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
