About this task
This construction group in logistics warehouses (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a senior PMO & Program Support for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies maintained.
Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It works in real estate and construction, where project documents change often.
The team sits in Rochdale. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).
What you deliver
- Maintain the RAID log for a programme, chase updates and escalate blockers.
- A written update every Wednesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
What a week looks like
- Tuesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
- Wednesday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
