About this task
This international nonprofit in refugee support (51–200 employees) is looking for a senior Bookkeeper for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Sets up a company file properly: accounts, classes, rules and users.
A fresh pair of experienced eyes is needed, and the result is a document or file the team can use straight away. It is a nonprofit, so budgets are tight and grant reporting dates are fixed.
The team sits in Brussels. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).
What you deliver
- Set up bank rules, product lists and a class structure for a two-location business and train the owner for 20 minutes.
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
