About this task

This Series B developer-tools company for finance teams (201–500 employees) is looking for a director Reference-Answer Writer for a rating and review programme for AI output in your own field, 3–6 h a week. Rates how hard each question is for experts.

The programme needs subject-matter experts who can tell a good answer from a plausible one in their own field. The company sells subscription software, so deadlines follow release and billing cycles.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Germany works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day.

What you deliver

  • Rate the difficulty of 80 questions and flag ambiguous or underspecified ones.
  • A weekly count of items reviewed, confirmed by the programme lead
  • Ratings entered in the client's tool against the written rubric, with a one-line reason each
  • Flags for answers that are unsafe, off-topic or wrong in your field

What a week looks like

  • Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
  • Tuesday: main working block (2 hours)
  • Friday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: Weekly batches for 12 weeks, renewed every four weeks. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
