About this task
This health charity in global health (51–200 employees) is looking for a director Fractional COO for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Finds where work waits and proposes fixes in order of effect.
A fresh pair of experienced eyes is needed, and the result is a document or file the team can use straight away. It is a nonprofit, so budgets are tight and grant reporting dates are fixed.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Utah, so this one is for residents there. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.
What you deliver
- Map order-to-delivery, measure waiting time and propose five fixes with expected savings.
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: about 10 working days. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
