About this task
This food producer in coffee (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a director Fractional CMO for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Defines who the product is for, why it wins and how to say it.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It produces and sells food and drink, with seasonal peaks and strict labelling rules.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Alberta, so this one is for residents there. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.
What you deliver
- Run two workshops and deliver a positioning statement, three messages and proof points.
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: 1 to 2 weeks. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
